Kristy spent the summer as a camp counselor in Olympia Washington. I went to visit her for her 20th birthday. This was a shot of Crater Lake taken from the plane.
The lake and camp was within walking distance of the Alsin's home, old friends from Salinas.
The counselors had 5 year olds in day camp to high school age students for a week at a time.The junior age kids had a western theme. They slept in tipis and covered wagons.
This is the view she had from her cabin when she had high school students.
Even though it was tiring and lots of work, Kristy loved her summer in the Pacific Northwest!
She made lots of great friends, one in particular - Tyler Alsin!
